Irony is a documentary profiling corrugated iron sculptor Jeff Thomson. Jeff has worked almost exclusively with corrugated iron for many years and so the documentary explores the medium as well as the man.
The documentary was produced for the TVNZ "Work of Art" series. The brief was that each documentary, as well as being about an artist needed to be itself a work of art.
