New Artland is a series made for TVNZ7, a channel dedicated to showing innovative and intelligent television in New Zealand. The series commissioned prominent Kiwi artists to create a public artwork. Commmunity involvement was part of the brief, and there was a set budget and timeframe.
It was a fascinating, exciting and creative series, and produced a string of vibrant television programmes.
